I take your broader point about the relative diversity of national championship winners in the 90s but I do wonder how much of that was due to “traditional powers” just not being that good - it’s challenging to maintain that level of performance for multiple cycles of players
Postu gösterI think Washington would take exception to the idea that they less football centric, that fan base has sustained a sleeping giant myth off 2 national championships (one of which they claimed 47 years retroactively) and 18 conference titles.
