Huge thanks to @pandoramonium.com for this tutorial on how to record transparent WEBM videos in OBS here: youtu.be/3FKUXgh2s_Q. I knew this was possible since I used to do this with Vegas Pro and with MOV videos way back. For reference, I record with VSeeFace thru Spout2 capture for my VRoid model
Postu gösterThank you so much! My video's helped a ton of people (assuming that you have a strong CPU: It works really well), and I'm glad that it helped you! I also recommend checking out @pandoramonium.com's WebM transparent recording tutorial that works well on lower-end CPUs too!
Postu gösterPlease check out Pandoramonium's new video about recording transparent video in OBS! We recently spoke about what would work better than their PNG method or my ProRes 4444 method. They brought to my attention that WEBM files absolutely DO work with transparency! Try it out!
Postu gösterA huge thank-you to @pandoramonium.com and @rookthebat.bsky.social for inspiring me to make a video about this OBS feature!! (Pandora for creating a tutorial on using PNG encoding in a similar way last year, and Rook for reminding me that sometimes people need a visual to help them learn!)
Postu gösterHAPPY BIRTHDAY PANDORA!!
