    My best take is if your business needs to nearly permanently occupy driving lanes on busy roads (Hotel Monaco, Sotto Sopra, every apartment building) then a more efficient use of 2-3 parking spots out front is to make these into a drop off lane with a 10 minute limit.

    Noah and I have just spent a blissful 6 days making a bicycle trek from Pittsburgh to Baltimore (via DC) on totally car-free routes. It’s been kind of tough to transition back to dealing with the relentlessly carbrained baltimore (everywhere?) world :(
