  The 5-minute cache TTL hurts twice because cold re-reads scale with session depth. Once a sub-agent re-reads 150k tokens of dead terminal output, you pay full input price on low-entropy noise. Spawning fresh with a compacted artifact keeps the token distribution bounded.

  The file-path approach to flagging one-way doors is clever. Building Nemonix solo, my version of this is: anything touching auth, Plaid token handling, or pricing logic gets a manual review pass before it ships, no matter how small the diff looks.
