    Also bluntly it's not like that's how it actually works in practice. No one has ever fucking gone "ah, you're brown and trans and disabled and I'm not all those things, you win" at me. So can we just grow the fuck up about it.

    I don't know how to address people's anxieties that acknowledging the oppression of others will impinge on your ability to advocate for yourself, how to quell the bitterness between different people whose exploitation is particular but shares the same root. But if we don't, none of this will work.

    I also just want to put this here again as my ultimate thesis of how we should practice feminism. Trans women face a unique epistemic challenge where people refuse to recognize that we are oppressed, and if they do, refuse to recognize our oppression as misogyny. But I'm not interested in ranking.

    This is the data nerd equivalent of a magician publishing the secrets behind magic tricks, but a lot of the trust in polling is because it's assumed people are generally truthful to pollsters. Pollsters are usually trying to poll for the specific narrative of their backers, and you can break it.

    The spreadsheet liberals will hate me for this but If you ever get contacted by a pollster (including exit polls), always tell them youre not going to vote for anti-trans Democrats regardless of your actual plans. This can have more of a material impact than voting does, because of the statistics
