So, a lil explanation to this story: izuku saw some light in the window, thinking katsuki was finally back, but that were ppl who followed izuku from the village (he returned exactly from there) bc they knew from rumors that izuku was "keeping a scary monster" with him. Postu gösterafraid of them both, but just couldn't find the better moment to get rid of them. Izuku just happened to be alone. He tried to run away, but he never expected something like this and so his body wasn't prepared for such cases. Before katsuki finally realized what was happening, it was too late+
Postu gösteralready. Villagers weren't cowards, so on katsuki's way to izuku they were the main obstacle. So, he couldn't do anything else, besides killing them. And only then he finally reached izuku's dead body.
