    At the last day of our kid's preschool last year, a Mom whose older kid was moving on to kindergarten said weepily "I feel like it's the end of his childhood." Seemed odd to me, then I discovered it's bc kids have to become chromebook drones in kindergarten & that's just school now. It's madness.

    Our kid will enter K-12 soon and this shit is turning me into the joker. Our school district gives out laptops to fucking KINDERGARTENERS and makes them sit in front of a fucking screen. WHY. How did anyone think offloading education to tech corps was a good idea. Get ALL of this shit out of schools

    The thing I've never understood about personality cults is that 99.9% of the subjects don't give a shit about the people who worship them, but their bootlickers do it anyhow. Mr Rogers and Dolly excepted.
