Postu gösterNice!!!! I'm thrilled that someone else is familiar with this book! As a kid, I used to read that thing cover to cover and had a huge wish list! A childhood friend used to regularly go to Japan so I got to play with her Jenny dolls with her. Those accessories were wonderful.

Postu gösterOh yeah, absolutely familiar with these. This was Japan's answer to Barbie before Takara went original with the Jenny line. The detailing on the MaBa Barbie accessories is legendary.
Postu gösterI've seen the "Going Home" Barbie before. I've seen her being called an "Asian" Barbie (Yes really!) by a few Barbie collectors before & that's bothered me a lot. The baby doll is Asian but Barbie herself is not. Just because she has adopted an Asian looking baby, it doesn't make that Barbie Asian.
