Postu gösterThere’s also a fuel panel on the left side, but it’s called the “dummy side.” No panel. A fueler hooks up the hoses, pumps until they’re told to stop, that’s it. With both sides doing 800-900 gallons per minute, it’s possible to fuel an Asia-bound flight in 70 minutes or so.
Postu gösterMost gates that handle wide body aircraft have two fuel pits, one near each wing of an aircraft parked on that surface. On a wide body, the fuel panel is on the left side. Fueler hooks up the hoses, the are gauges that show quantity, mostly straight forward.
