I was venting a while back that I was getting tired of animated films aimed at children being so fast paced, bloated and tonally all over the place and this film is literally the kind of thing I was begging for. It’s a genuine masterpiece, I adore it.

I've been producing a top down stealth action game for almost five years. We've got a ways to go on its core foundation, as can be seen in the clip, but the fact that the game is starting to feel like a *game* is exciting. The character sprites are placeholders made with Blender & Mixamo. No AI.

It's kinda sad but also very clear, that AO3 going down has validated what we Olds have been hemming and hawing for half a decade now: Some of us are in fandom to make friends, and some of you are in fandom to consume content and be able to bully the creators for more of it.

Actually I have one last thing to say and then I'm putting myself in stfu boring bitch corner: comparing all this to the zines and passing around physical fics of Old Fandom is massively disingenuous because people *consented* to that. They *chose* for it to happen. That's the point.
