Phil Goff pointed out on RNZ that after this overhang strategy was carried out in Germany, they adjusted the MMP system to prevent it, because it wasn't a proportional representation. Can't see this lot making that adjustment, but we should have that conversation. #nzpol

Would it have killed Green candidate voters in marginal seats such as Nelson and Mt Roskill to have held their nose and voted in greater number for the Labour candidate in order to decrease National’s overhang. Come on
