Who politicians employ and surround themselves with pretty quickly defines their politics as much or more than their own convictions in some ways.
Postu gösterI mean you're not wrong. Her staffers spreading these attacks is the first thing that's really been a bad politics red flag for me.
Postu gösterI think she moved to the district very recently within the last year and didn't previously live in the state. But I think she moved their for honest reasons (moving in with her partner). I don't think anyone asked her to run, she is ostensibly left wing but I've heard DSA Chicago are weary of her.
Postu gösterJust seems crazy to have your campaign message be "I'm the next Zohran Mamdani" while your staff join in on the bad faith pile ons against Zohran. 😔 bsky.app/profile/katm...
Postu gösterI'm not a Kat hater. I like her energy. I donated to her campaign. I'm just very disappointed with this approach and would probably steer people away from her campaign if this is what her staff choose to prioritize with their public channels.
