    10 years today this Siberian Accentor turned up in Newbiggin. It was flushed by a weasel towards two of us and landed 12 feet away. I was shaking when I took these... I saw the Easington bird and dipped the Holy Island bird. Not a sniff since, is this the new Nutcracker. #UKBirding #Northumberland

    @nybirdnews.bsky.social I arrived in the fog this morning at Brimham Rocks with the intention of seeing the Great-grey Shrike, which I managed at 10.25, and when the mist cleared half an hour later I was amazed to find myself 20 feet away from a Desert Wheatear sat in a small willow!

    Last week our incredible team of volunteers joined forces with the churchwardens in Wressle, to once again help mow and manage the churchyard as a wildflower meadow – great to see some early progress and to help enable the local community to drive forward parish-based #NatureRecovery projects 🐝🪻
