Many Games use AI to give NPC's, friend and foe, a sort of Life of their Own, and many programs use AI tools to cut the time doing simple, but extensive crap down to mere moments, AI overall has wonderful uses, it's really just GenAI I hate x.x the only one being not TOO bad is Voice AI, but still!
Postu gösterAs I said in the other post, I definitely don't agree with the AI trained without permission...but it's too late to fix it, and none of us creatives trust anyone to make an AI that DOES it with permission....so it's fully a double edge sword now, one that has all creatives hating GenAI 100% forever!
Postu gösterSorry, just saw this after replying to the other from my notifications bar, this is ALSO why I don't like GenAI, it's been used to copy other people's stuff without permission and that is another one of the big reasons why the thing from my other reply STILL isn't acceptable! As a Writer, I hate AI!

One thing that I WOULD HAVE considered okay if not for people's greedy misuse of AI, is people making a Fursona/Persona for the first time, using AI to make a "Starter" image, then using it as a reference to pay an artist to make a Ref Sheet. Sadly people can't be trusted!
Postu gösterIt's a nice thought at best, but because of greed and misuse, I DO NOT consider that okay, because it could be a lie just to use that art to then use AI to make more slop and waste everyone's time. Then you have issues like you said of FAKE artists using AI to make...you guess it...more slop!
