Some Jimmy Webb music for your Wednesday RS youtu.be/Ft2FtTgBtn4?...
Postu gösterOh, that makes me so happy to hear. Same! That character was so much fun to write for. I really love the performances that @aprilstewart.bsky.social did as Auntie in the AC questline, the Order questline, and the ending, by the way. Love to hear what you think.
Postu gösterI won’t venture into details, and I’ll have “effort posts” next month about the game and its characters/factions, but I just wanted to briefly note: Auntie Cleo is such an immensely fascinating character for an RPG. Her omnipresence in the game imparts on the player so much. (1/3) #TheOuterWorlds2
Postu gösterWe see her in the “saving” icon, her words and manner of speech are a constant presence on intercoms and radios, her likeness plastered on countless surfaces. We “know” her before we know her, and then it’s difficult to separate reality and marketing, as it’s dizzying in how overpowering it is.
Postu gösterAnd so when you *do* actually encounter her, the player feels akin to an in-universe character doing the same. A great example of a game with a coherent design that adds to its theming.
