The early race to the bottom of App Store pricing is the only reason it seems steep. This is less than pretty much *any* desktop software, and about the price of ~2 beers at a restaurant. People hem and haw over a couple bucks for a useful ad-free app and then drop $11 on popcorn at the theater.
