The Green Party is at a crossroads. We need to build consensus and focus outward. We’ll deliver the changes our society needs now and for the future only if the British public comes with us. That’s the Green Party I want to see.
Postu gösterIt is when people question whether the Green party is a serious party or not - because we all know what the media will focus its attention on. The 2024 and 2019 manifestos present exactly the policies that I want to vote for. And we need a discussion on UBI and the economics for a dying planet.
Postu gösterWe also vote for leaders and should be able to trust them to steer the party in the right direction. I've looked at the 2024 manifesto and it states its views on human rights and Palestine very well. And includes excellent economic policies. Pointless vote.
Postu gösterMy view is that the policy of a party of 230,000 members shouldn't be decided by 2,000 people at one conference, many of the 228,000 other members didn't have an accessible way to speak. They should not be silenced still.
Postu gösterNo, we could have passed a one state solution motion which didn't centre Zionism, and we'd have exclusively boiled the right people's piss. Or a strengthened boycott motion. Etc.
