    If you have sane parents (which I don't) please talk about this stuff before it's too late. You need to make some kind of basic plan, even if it's just "we'll take whatever medicare can offer". Doing this all after the fact fucking sucks. At least election night was fun.

    I still don't think Dad can take care of Mom, but they're sticking with it. They're getting all setup with an inhome care service, but it's taking forever. Like 6 days in and they don't have anyone specifically helping them with anything yet, just appointments and a single health visit.

    It's been 6 days since my mom had to go to the ER and like this has been so emotionally exhausting. Thank God I'm still unemployed, I almost broke down crying at a job interview Monday. Lord knows what would happen if I was actually trying to work all week.
