New article! I've written about Paddy Ashdown, 'third way' politics, and the Liberal Democrats' relationship with New Labour in @jbritishstudies.bsky.social doi.org/10.1017/jbr....
Postu göster1/5 📣 An article I've written about the Queen's University in Ireland, its constituent colleges, and their relationship to the British Empire has been published with @jbritishstudies.bsky.social. The article makes the case for rethinking about the Queen's University's purpose in Ireland. 🗃️
Postu göster5/5 I want to praise the editors of @jbritishstudies.bsky.social who were wonderful to work with, courteous, diligent, and very prompt. They found excellent anonymous reviewers that helped strengthen this piece. Things moved quickly & everything is OA. I really can't recommend JBS enough.
Postu gösterFor the @jbritishstudies.bsky.social forum, "1776: Views from the British World," I wrote a short piece about the surprising significance of Church of Scotland ministers in the transatlantic American Revolution.
Postu gösterworth saying I was also super impressed by the @jbritishstudies.bsky.social turn around time and editorial processes !
