Postu gösterYou think Pluto isn't a planet. I think Earth isn't a planet. We are not the same.
Postu gösterthis leaves us with the question of what we call Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. I think we have a lot of options here: - minor planets - dwarf planets - failed planets - wannabe planets - tryhard planets - moons, but for the sun - and my personal favorite: "metals"
Postu gösterNow I realize some people may object to this view. To those people, I ask this: if an object is so small it can't gravitationally capture the two most common elements in the universe, then how can it even be called a planet?
Postu gösterOk I am massively jetlagged so it's time for an astronomy shitpost thread I think, as many do, that the IAU definition of a planet is not great, and that there are not eight planets in the Solar System. Specifically, I believe there are only *four* planets in the solar system.
