Postu gösterI do love how a lot of online beef around "AI"-generated images basically revolves around the eternal debate between average creator of art and average observer of art: "i made this and i deserve reward for my hard work" versus "ok but you see lol i enjoy using your things without paying you"
Postu gösterErin making the excellent point that *once we know how to do something*, (e.g. summarise/paraphrase, polish up a draft) we can use technology to automate that - but the results will be poor if you don’t already have the knowledge of how to do that task yourself #lilac24

I play with it a lot but hadn't fully analyzed what exactly it was, why it occurs, and how bad a system it actually is, not just in terms of the horrors that tend to be associated with it. Luckily, my friend @vivissiah.bsky.social wrote about it!
