Meg & Bet are deployed to jog the memories of soap addicts, Dudley Moore joins The Muppets and Professor Quatermass goes to London where he is both mugged AND not appreciated.

    Hadn't seen that clock before. In fairness that's one of the more impressive attempts to make a mechanical clock look computer-generated. What a design clash that edit of the Meridian endboard is for Dr Quinn. Always hated that striped CTV logo. Looks like a 70s local US TV station.

    It wouldn't be unusual 30-40 years earlier for a department of an ITV company to knock-up a new logo in this way. There are examples of ABC & Thames having weird endcaps, and CTV was very influenced by both (and funded by ABC!). But it's more likely to be a planned new logo torpedoed by the hearts.
