If Greene is truly distancing herself from the toxic politics of January 6, she needs to be held accountable for her role. A genuine shift in stance starts with confronting her past actions.

Postu gösterPhang is right, defendants shouldn't have to prove their innocence; the government must prove guilt. Hallagan’s mistake is a glaring misstep, especially for someone with a legal background. Misstatements like this undermine the entire judicial process.
Postu gösterPhang: It is a fundamental premise of the law that there is no requirement that a criminal defendant be forced to testify to explain away the government’s evidence. Hallagan went to law school and knows better, but she’s so stupid that she made that misstatement of the law to the grand jury.
Postu gösterIt’s jarring how we’re expected to carry on like everything’s normal while someone with such a disturbing history holds office. We can't ignore the seriousness of these allegations, this should be front and center in any political discourse.
