    I'm not talking by force. I mean if Puerto Rico wanted it. Out of anyone in the whole world Puerto Rico should be considered first if we are doing anything outside the contiguous 48 states. If they want state hood they should get it and if they need to be rebuilt we should be helping.

    D.C. has a population that is larger than that of Vermont or Wyoming. Puerto Rico has a population larger than that of 20 of the 50 states. They're both denied statehood, not because of population, but how they might vote.

    Many of the White House candidates for high level positions in the Federal government come across as badly qualified for the jobs they are seeking. If they all happened to be Black, I wonder if they’d instead be rejected as incompetent DEI hires?
