INCREDIBLE interview
Postu göster- Context modification Sometimes you are in a genuinely shit situation. An awful job, a bad relationship, the wrong city, etc. If the situation is amenable to change, you might want to do that. I wouldn't want all this advice on exercise etc to overshadow the power of sacking off a crap scene.
Postu göster- Do basic personal hygiene (not as arduous as it threatens to be; a foundational exercise for building self compassion) - Listen to music you love; dance if you fancy it - Don't become a performer on a stage where you are the only audience; most ways you think you're failing are arbitrary nonsense
Postu gösterOk I'll stop now. 50+ posts is demented. Always hard to satisfy the dual conditions of accuracy & intelligibility. It's an area where wrong clarity tends to win out over correct nuance. The latter can feel a bit dispiriting & evasive, all maybes & possibilities.
Postu göster- Community Connections with supportive peers, meeting up with people, having chats about stuff that's bothering you, doing fun distracting activities together - all pretty reliably correlated with better mood. Again, not necessarily sufficient on its own, but a promising area to work on.
