    (FWIW hella lefts of all types have ducked out of these spaces, obviously, but it is a trend over the last 5 or so years ive clocked where the disjunct between what kinda ppl are visible online vs. what kinda politics ppl proclaim in organizing/struggle spaces has grown bigger)

    Like even the folks who i met or got to know thru posting/ writing/ blogging era are much less interested and involved in discourse. Of course I am also just getting older so it might be that! Who can say? literally just one girl and am basing this largely on vibe, personal anecdote, and gut check!

    The reason far left internet and discourse feels so heavily dominated by socialists and auth-communists is because anti-authoritarians have largely abandoned social media, almost every left-com/circle A i know is barely online or only posts on behalf of a project, and they're doing shit irl

    Two Trump terms destroyed the comfortable margin myth. I'd phrase it along the lines of: "Remember when there was no way Trump could beat Hillary and then there was no way he was going to beat Kamala? Vote like you understand the stakes now. It's up to you. You can NOT depend on everybody else."
