The Economist has some weird baked-in cultural features - the most interesting is that they don't show who wrote most of their articles, preferring to present a unified "voice of the Economist" across all of their reporting

Postu gösterThis is why for any business: getting featured in e.g. The Economist or other mainstream papers might sound tempting: but getting a quote and a link in a much smaller newsletter or "new media" will bring far more business. Engage accordingly is my only advice. I always link. Why would you not?
Postu gösterGot into a long argument with a journalist at The Economist: because the publication refuses to place a link to my research that they used. Somehow linking to the source is some threat to them? A reminder that legacy publications don't link. I always do. One reason why "old media" is dying.
