Words for maize in Romanian, mid-twentieth century. Map from my book adapted from an older one by Marius Sala, Fonetică şi dialectologie 1 (1958), with some dates of first attestation added. A posh word for this is 'geosynonyms'

We won't know abt the identity of the candidate PM until February, we still do not know who is in the coalition and who's out, but this is now a Mañana coalition with a plan. Which sounds like a step forward.

They'll most probably agree on vague statement abt Italy needing to take lead in diplomacy to end the war, probably say nothing about military expenses (PD & M5S won't easily agree on these), & kick the problem onto long grass. Good luck to a future govt finding a way through, but for now it'll do.
