like idc about most of the talking points. it's true that avoiding gdocs/gdrive doesn't protect your fic from being scraped. it's true that ao3 allowed downloads so ppl already agreed to that. but i think it's pretty clear that being an asshole is still being an asshole
Postu gösterdeanonymizing fics + publicizing deleted fics is a total jerk move. and most of the big archives pull from the 2025 ai ao3 scrape, which is how they're able to put names to fics that have since been anonymized. just bc you can do smth doesn't absolve you from being an asshole
