There was a lot of interest in my earlier post on standing charges. I've built this chart showing what the standing charge pays for today - in both gas and electricity. The PM has asked for the gas charge to go. The underlying costs remain though, will be collected elsewhere.

Postu gösterGiven how hard the ‘Right Way’ argues that incentives are key to good policy and how it claims also to respect facts of climate science it is notable how the energy policy section consists exclusively of *disincentives* to act on the facts of climate change.
