3. In addition, there are tens upon tens of billion dollars given in subsidies, including massive infrastructure projects to serve solely these projects. We not only pay these subsidies, but taxpayers also assume the risk, while they get the profits. That’s NOT ENERGY SOVEREIGNTY.

4. Canada repealed the Digital Services Tax under U.S. pressure. So there’s that. It just shows we have no leverage. Most data spanning government services, healthcare records, financial institutions, and private enterprises is hosted on foreign-owned cloud infrastructures.

I could have sworn the SpaceX S-1 explicitly said its mission was to "make life multiplanetary." I'll give them a pass though. In the many months since the IPO, it's understandable how such a bold mission was abandoned.
