Thanks Jen, Thomas was a lovely gentle bloke from Louisiana who settled here in Wales with his wife, Heather (also from Louisiana). We're still close with H, & T is buried here in our fields where he volunteered with us & wanted to be forever. We miss him but also feel privileged to have known him.
Postu gösterOh yeah, the railway runs alongside much of the canal - as is typical since railways were usually put in on routes to replace the slower-paced canal boats.
Postu gösterGood luck with that if you do try it. I'm still amazed at there being even one fox here, never mind two. I wondered if they're coming down from Port Meadow. Although, equally, they could be denning somewhere along the canal.
