    The fundamental failure here is of Cabinet Office. They were faced with a burning platform (a failure of service management) and, desperately, bought the idea of AI delivering the solution (a failure of expertise). They ignored all warning signs (a failure of procurement)

    Quite. The AI answer to a shop's bank holiday hours were laughably wrong for me recently, considering all it had to do was literally copy the information on their home page.

    On the flip side, I think there are plenty of websites should probably be turned off 'just in case' and this is a good excuse
