Like at several points, the career civil servants will agree that [x] is a legit problem. But the issue isn't an evil Deep State engaged in grift. It's just regular government bureaucracy stuff. Fixing it requires legal change, not bandits.
Postu gösterMost fascinating thing: many government employees will say yeah, our institution is really inefficient and there are people here who should be fired. But the problem isn't fraud/abuse, it's all the stuff congress makes us do without allocating resources.

Kevin nails the theory of what energy models can do and again illustrates how to transparently assess modeling assumptions and their implications for results. I wish this was the bar against which all modeling studies were measured.
Postu gösterYeah I don’t think there’s a need to bring ideology into it at all. Just go through resumes and records as objectively as possible and fire anyone who is obviously unqualified or who has done terrible work, and the current administration disappears overnight.
