    Seems to me that nice websites, docs, etc were a proof of work proxy for quality. The thing that is not a proxy is comprehensive tests for correctness. What we actually want from software is provable correctness.

    heres the thing about AI: reliably systems require you understand them, fully. AI cannot replace understanding unfortunately. And once you invested all that time understanding your problem you might as well write the code yourself. bc writing code was never the bottleneck anyway

    Not all of them are gone. You can look at the relation network of who the team is and get most of that info. People can interact with the thing and share their analyses. Really just seems like classic discovery problems that need to be made to scale. Might result in pressure for less secrecy.
