    When moderate institutional power lines up against you, it’s a hard hurdle to clear. But Frazier won. So did Flanagan. And El-Sayed. This race is an important win for how our county approaches justice, and I’m glad voters saw through the same old bag of moderate tricks.

    Folk’s campaign manager ran Frey’s 2025 race. Frey endorsed Folk. All of Mpls, the PAC that has backed Frey since 2021, spent $566,733 for him in 2025 and $372,627 for Folk this year. That coalition accepted the CD3 GOP endorsement and got Republicans to consolidate behind Folk.

    I see an effort to paint Frazier’s 8,300-vote win as DFLers rejecting him vs. statewide DFL candidates. It’s the opposite. When moderate DFL power brokers spent over $1 million and teamed up with Republicans, Hennepin voters saw through it and elected the progressive. 🧵
