Well the way this whole thing is worded, sounds like ALL e-bikes and scooters are banned. Not just certain brands

I'm not ranting against e-bikes as a whole - just the dangerous illegal ones that are disproportionately causing fires in the city. Not sure why that should be controversial.

When people rant against e-bikes, they are NOT complaining about ordinary people biking along at 10 or 15 mpg on their Class-1 or Class-2 e-bike. They are complaining about the heavy e-motos that zoom along at 30 or even 50 mph and which are responsible for so many horrible crashes.
