Postu gösterIn the 90s I worked at a business over there and the address was South Boston. That Mobil on Southampton St was called “Roxbury on the Run” at that time.

Postu gösterHistorically speaking, it's filled land, part of the old South Bay, so in the gap between Roxbury, South Boston, and the South End of Boston Proper, connected only by Boston Neck. Never been residential AFAIK, so affiliations are emotionally weak in all directions.
