    Yes, unfortunately. HIPAA allows for a service provider like EPIC to contract to any other third party, provided that third party doesn’t violate HIPAA. I’m sure there’s some paper thin agreement not to train on it, but that doesn’t stop it from offering Very Wrong advice based on the data it sees.

    AI is not going to destroy us by becoming sentient and seizing power, it's going to kill us by flooding every single space with hallucinatory bullshit in critical applications while the vast majority of us scream "don't put AI in that!"
