Since we’re pre-registering takes, here’s mine: the Senate is a fundamentally anti-democratic institition that has long outlived its justifications. As we think about rebuilding American government, we need to begin considering plans to marginalize, transform, or effectively abolish the Senate.

This isn’t how numbers work but spouse pointed out that $36 is a common Jewish donation amount because multiples of 18 are considered good luck It’s a nice thought!
