    tbh it feels to me like 90% of the shrillest wide-eyed psychos are fully just doing consumerbrain reflexive defensiveness over the $0 pwyw content site, even if it would mean their emotional support company collapses under the cost of hosting 6 petabytes of tower defense clones that don't work

    i'm still on team "if you wanted the business/cared about the creators you withheld sales money from, you would have spun up a side entity, set it up with ccbill/other highrisk processors, & had a floor price to cover fees", but at least everyone just went to fucking fansly or substar or whatever
