Postu gösterJP Morgan HQ's creation of a new public park at Westferry Circus in Canary Wharf has proposal for a new 'semi-segregated' cycle lane in the low-level roundabout. Detailed layout looks really substandard with cycle lane giving up at each arm within the roundabout with lots of 'hook' potential.
Postu gösterThey really need to change the priority at the St Marks Rise / Sandringham Rd junction so Cycleway 23 has priority. They’ve also left open the EB route from Dalston Ln to the A10 via St Marks Rise.
Postu gösterSeems like a similar kind of logic that led to this layout at Butterfield Green. Although I think at least this one won't actively increase potential conflict with pedestrians. My worry is that the wiggly approach (particularly on the north side) simply doesn't look like one that has priority.
Postu gösterJust rode this today. I think a bit needlessly curvy as they want cyclists to slow and look before crossing. Strange they don’t do this with normal give way crossings for motorists (would be a good idea though).
