My guess is because there's been some reckless riding at the other takeovers. Riding in the street, through the water fountain, few helmets. Lime says they banned some Seattle riders after the last one, but I didn't know they'd shut down the whole area. www.kuow.org/arts-life/20...
Postu gösterBit of a long thread here, but the main point: SPOG is going to do everything they can to destroy Mayor Wilson anyway. There's absolutely no reason for her to lie to trans people on behalf of the new interim SPD chief.
Postu gösterShe's making strides for transit & school lunches, the jury is still out on housing. She seems to have fired a number of key staff, nearly all of them black. Until this week, she didn't seem to take public frustration seriously. She also seems to have a network of apologist bloggers, stay tuned...
Postu gösterSeattle area resident, former New Yorker here. Mamdani is qualified for the job. The dropout Wilson never held a real (meaning accountable to supervision) full-time job in her life. Her management and communication skills deficit is alarming and she can't seem to comprehend public safety.
Postu gösterLooks like Lime has shutdown Pioneer Square ahead of tonight's planned "Lime takeover." Some frustrated Mariners fans said they usually grab one here.
