I forgot to mention, my tour job also has a surprising amount of manual labor to it. My coworker is sitting out the rest of the season after throwing their back out. It's very rough on the body at times, and they just expect you to roll with it. Heaviest fucking benches I've ever had to lift.

I feel so trapped and caged during times that I work doubles. I'm learning just how much I need free time to be myself. It is so very precious.

There are many times this week where I recall thinking "I could just fall asleep standing up here." I'm not sure if it was worth it, but I'm finally almost done for the season. I'm planning on just sticking to the day job after this season wraps next weekend. Keeping it simple.

Combining that with the fact that we all had to study and cram for this job (leading historical tours), AND that this is another job where you are on your feet the entire time, I am simply exhausted to the bone. My eyes have felt so heavy.
