    but really i think it removes a lot of the temptation to tell it about your problems and feelings if it's the work robot and i think that is where a lot of people start down a dark path

    like talking to something that sounds vaguely human but you know will report anything out of line you say to the boss and often seems like they're intentionally misunderstanding you - hey is this a robot or a sales guy

    you know what's interesting is that i think being forced to use AI at work as a first contact with it is actually a recipe for a healthy relationship with it. since your employer can read the transcripts and stuff it removes a lot of the natural tendency to anthropomorphize it
