    Anyway, all of this to say: that the joy we take in victory has to propel us forward in the campaign, because there is so much left to be done, and there always will be. That's why the joie de victoire has to also be joie de vivre. Otherwise there's only mortification

    I don't know quite how to explain this, but my team has been studying election denialism for six years, and I can only describe the atmosphere in our lab right now as "giddy" — absorbing the possibility that the "rigged election" nonsense might be done, at least for the time being.
