  It’s cool that voters kicked Republicans out of office, but you can’t look at the mess they left behind and shrug and say, “Welp, we’ll do better!” You have to clean up the mess. You have to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Voters will *demand* it, and if you don’t, they won’t come back.

  This “get things done, no retribution” line is lots of things, but above all it is incoherent. Elon Musk is an unelected billionaire whose armies of teen creeps destroyed entire agencies in a weekend. There is no way of “getting things done” that doesn’t involve holding him accountable.
