    At this point I don't care about the quality of your fanfic, I think a person should have better fucking behavior given that its likely THEIR OWN KIDS might find out about it, too! Like, at least grow the fuck up and mature for their sake!! Otherwise I'm gonna worry!!

    I HAVE HEARD HORROR STORIES...Like even as far back as the early 2000s the FF7 fandom had a reputation for being absolutely wild in the worst way. The fact that remains that way after what??? 30 years now??????

    Also, I will say I have respect for KPop fandoms being so willing to use their immense internet inertia to like, troll right-wing american politicians. So they're in my good books for that alone DGSGAGSHH

    GOD I've heard horror stories about FF7 fandom. And like, I'm an old school Homestuck fan. I saw some insane shit there but NOTHING that compares to FF7 fandom shit. (Part of me thinks it's also the age of the fandom, too)

    Honestly, as depressing as it sounds I've seen similar bullshit in other fandoms. And even other former friend groups outside of FFXIV. I just think because FFXIV is a (relatively) big game it's just, got a relatively higher percentage of these types. That and I mostly chat with people I vibe with
