Roseanne literally has brain damage from being hit by a car as a teenager. Hood ornament pierced through her skull.
Postu gösterI rewatched it recently, the Nathan character is a lot less nice on that show than in the Rehearsal. Which I guess in many ways is the point of the business guy character. But I definitely noticed he's less like...sweet than he is now with his subjects
Postu göstereven understanding that the cruelty is the point (lol), that these people signed releases, and that we are not being shown the full context of what the participants were actually "in on", it's still got me death gripping my couch cushions out of stress constantly
Postu gösterI think Nathan for You is his laugh out loud funniest work but it’s also the most mean-spirited which makes it a tough watch sometimes
Postu gösterI also really mean it when i say i find it conceptually interesting - i think he is one of the best contemporary artists working right now and it's really interesting to see the way he's developed and deepened the themes his work is concerned with over successive projects - but jesus christ man
