This is a cool study. Keck et al. used a LLM to pull over 144k species interactions out of ~84k scientific papers, covering 36k different taxa with 89.5% precision. A massive step forward by tackling ecological data that’s usually scattered everywhere, proving complex synthesis at scale is near.
